General Policies

Cancellation Policy

We greatly value the work of our small business and our staff. To minimise disruptions, please note the following:

  • For groups of up to 6 guests, cancellations or reservation changes require a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
  • For groups of 7 or more guests, we require at least 48 hours' notice. This policy applies under all circumstances, including COVID-19-related issues.
⚠ No-Show Charge Failure to comply with this policy will result in a charge of $25 per person to the credit card on file for no-shows or late changes.

Dress Code

We enforce a smart casual dress code. Costumes are not permitted.

Table Allocation

While we strive to accommodate seating requests, we cannot guarantee specific tables.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Our venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

No BYO Policy

As a fully licensed venue, we do not permit guests to bring their own beverages (BYO). We offer a wide selection of wines, beers, and spirits carefully curated to complement our menu.

Children's Policy

Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times within our venue. We kindly request:

  • Supervision is maintained to ensure their safety and to respect the dining experience of other guests.
  • Children should remain seated and should not wander around the venue unattended.

Reservation Policies

Reservations

  • Large groups of 12 or more are required to select from our set menu.
  • Reservations for 1–4 guests will have their table for 2 hours; groups of 5+ receive 2.5 hours. Extensions can be discussed by contacting info@ldv.com.au, subject to availability.

Pet Policy

We are happy to accommodate well-behaved pets in designated areas of our outdoor seating. Please ensure:

  • Pets remain on a leash at all times.
  • Owners must manage their pets to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests.
  • Any disturbances caused by pets may result in the need to vacate the premises.

Dining Specials

2-Course Meal Promotion

Available Mondays and Tuesdays — a special 2-course meal offer including a starter and a main course. This promotion is for individual enjoyment and cannot be shared with someone who has not purchased the same deal.

  • Dine-in guests only. May not be combined with other offers or promotions.

Beef / Reef Options

Enjoy our selection of beef or seafood dishes. This refers to individual beef or seafood dishes — not a combination of both. For combined beef and reef dishes, pricing is as specified in the menu.

  • Dine-in guests only. May not be combined with other offers or promotions.

Oyster Special

Natural oysters for $3 and Kilpatrick oysters for $5 — available with the purchase of any drink.

  • Minimum order: half-dozen.
  • Dine-in guests only. May not be combined with other offers or promotions.

Birthday Person Eats Free

Available any day — a free meal for the person celebrating their birthday.

  • Valid ID required.
  • Minimum of 4 people dining.
  • Dine-in guests only. May not be combined with other offers or promotions.

Bottomless Lunch

  • Available for the whole table only.
  • Duration: 90 minutes. Starting times from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Prompt arrival is encouraged.
  • Pricing includes a set "Bottomless Lunch" menu and unlimited servings of select beverages.
  • Reservations are essential. Walk-ins welcome but subject to availability.
  • Valid identification required for legal age verification. Service may be refused to those without proper ID or who appear intoxicated.
  • Dine-in guests only. May not be combined with other offers or promotions.

No Split Bills

We do not offer split billing. Please arrange a single payment per table.

Cakeage Fee

A cakeage fee of $3 per person will be charged for any outside cakes brought into the restaurant. This fee covers serving, handling, and cleanup costs.

  • Advance notice of 24 hours is required to bring an outside cake.
  • Agreement to pay the cakeage fee is assumed when bringing an outside cake.

Vouchers & Platforms

Groupon

Customers must present their valid Groupon voucher upon arrival for staff to scan and redeem. A Groupon-specific menu will be provided and must be selected from.

First Table

First Table terms and conditions apply — see firsttable.com.au/terms-and-conditions.

  • Guests must advise staff of their First Table booking on arrival and present confirmation. Check your bill before paying to ensure the offer is applied. Gift vouchers cannot be used.
  • The booking fee grants a food discount for 2–4 diners only. Beverages, service charges, and additional fees are excluded.
  • All diners must arrive within 15 minutes of the booked time. The offer may be forfeited if late or if more diners attend than stated.
  • Bookings may be amended or cancelled via the First Table platform. Reservations cannot be transferred to another date, time, or venue. Refunds are not available except where the restaurant cannot honour the booking.
  • Public holiday surcharges may apply. Bookings are not exchangeable for cash or resale.

Uber Eats

All Uber Eats orders are processed and paid for via the Uber Eats platform. Any delivery or refund issues must be resolved directly with Uber Eats.

Gift Cards & Promotions

Promotion Redemption

No two promotions, discounts, or specials can be redeemed together. Only one offer may be used per visit.

Gift Card & Credit Usage

Gift cards, gift certificates, and restaurant credits apply only to full-price menu items or non-discounted à la carte menu items. They cannot be combined with discounted prices. We reserve the right to modify prices before applying any gift cards or credits.

Operational Policies

Special Dietary Requirements

Please notify the restaurant of any allergies or special dietary requirements at the time of booking and again when placing an order with staff.

Health & Safety Compliance

The restaurant adheres strictly to local health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all patrons and staff.

Smoking & Vaping Policy

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the venue. Designated smoking areas are available outside. Guests are asked to respect this policy to ensure the comfort and health of all patrons.

Weather Policy

Certain areas within our venue depend on weather conditions and may be relocated or cancelled without notice in extreme conditions. We will notify affected bookings as soon as possible should closure be necessary.

Reservation of Rights

We reserve the right to modify the terms, conditions, pricing, and promotions at any time without prior notification.
